Wayne N. Dahl, 70, of Janesville, WI died December 8, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Fort Atkinson, WI. Wayne was born November 4, 1941 in Vernon County, WI, the son of Lee & Tillie (Dahl) Dahl. He attended schools in Viroqua and received his GED  from Blackhawk Technical Institute, Janesville. He was united in marriage to Jean Williams in 1973 in Richland Center, WI. Wayne and his brother farmed near Viroqua prior to his moving to Janesville where he was employed by General Motors for 33 years. He retired in 1996 due to failing health. He enjoyed fishing with his family and deer hunting with his brothers and nephews. Wayne  loved playing the guitar and singing.  He  was a member of U.A.W. Local # 95.
Surviving are his daughter, Melissa (Clayton) La Belle of Janesville, his grandchildren, Heather and Nathen La Belle, two sisters, Frances Hanson and Janice (Gale) Olson both of Viroqua, two brothers, Wencel (Carol) Dahl and Odean (Lois) Dahl both of Janesville, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Lester, Vernon, Kenneth, Arden and one sister, Beatrice.
Funeral services will be at 12 Noon Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Viroqua, WI. Rev. Peter Beckstrand will officiate.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until noon Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
